The Curator’s Tour will consist of a brief introduction and walk-through of the exhibition gallery. The exhibition focuses on the Serie Blanca
period or “White Series” in the body of work of artist Fernando Zobel (1924-1984). Executed from 1975 to 1978, the Serie Blanca
is considered to be Zobel’s most lyrical and enigmatic work in pure abstraction, a peak in his continuing mastery over material, form, and composition.
In this tour, exhibition curator Ditas Samson
will explore and expose how depicted reality, such as landscapes, seascapes, as well as visual dialogues with works of other artists can be recreated and rendered in oil paint brushed and applied on canvas, or how a landscape composition can transform into a pure physical presence.
This Curator's Tour is available both onsite and virtually. Onsite slots are limited to 15 pax only.🏛️ Onsite Tickets 💻 Virtual Tickets
