Join us for Manila Unpacked: 1570-2020 with art and culture luminary Dr. Jaime Laya — the first entry in our new Discovery Lectures series.

Discovery Lectures is a new series that unpack familiar topics from Philippine art, culture, and history from a more curious point-of-view, focusing on underreported aspects that will bring forth something new to the familiar. 

About Dr. Jaime Laya:

Dr. Jaime C. Laya authored books on culture and heritage including Philippine Heritage Homes and Intramuros of Memory. He has served as Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports; Minister of Budget and Management, Governor of the Central Bank of the Philippines, Chairman of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts; and Founding Action Officer of the Intramuros Administration.
