This celadon jarlet from the Longquan kiln in Zhejiang, China is decorated with embossed peonies on the upper half of the body and narrow lotus petals emanating from the bottom rim. Scrolling floral sprays, narrow petals, and distinctly sectioned areas with different designs are hallmarks of ceramics from the Yuan Period (1271-1368).
