Watercolor on paper
Fine Arts
Lansangan ng Halu-halo’t, Labu-labong Kulay, Usok at Ingay (A Street of Various Hazy Colors, Smoke, and Noise) is a painterly rendition in watercolor evoking the sight of congestion in the city. The medium was effectively used to depict the suffocating pollution of the metropolis, as thousands of people and jeepneys scramble in the city streets.
This artwork was awarded the first prize in the Watercolor Category of the 23rd Shell National Students Art Competition in 1990.
