Ayala Museum On-The-Go Members FAQ

Why is the museum renovating? 

The Ayala Museum, together with the Filipinas Heritage Library and Artistspace, is renovating its the 15-year old facility to improve our services. 

 

What will happen to my membership? 

Memberships availed from June 2018 to February 2019 are still valid except for Museum and Library access which is only until May 31, 2019.

The following benefits can still be availed during the renovation period:

  1. Partner establishment/institution benefits (Please see list below)
  2. Extended membership validity until December 31, 2020

 

Can I still avail of the benefits with partner establishments? 

Go for it! The partner establishments listed below will still acknowledge your card when availing of its perks. We will send a monthly update of their events and offerings. 

 

If my membership is about to expire, can I still renew even if you are closed? 

We will resume acceptance of membership applications by 2020. 

 

Can I use the card by the time you re-open? 

Yes! All membership cards availed from June 2018 to February 2019 will be valid by the time we re-open in 2020. We will send an announcement for any changes on the benefits and guidelines. 

 

When will you re-open? 

We will send an official announcement for our scheduled reopening in 2020. 

 

What will happen to the Museum Shop? Can I still buy products and get member discounts?

Yes! The shop will continue to sell through their pop-up stores in select locations. The shop also has an online store: shop.ayalamuseum.org

What will happen to your workshops, lectures, concerts and other events?

The workshops, lectures, concerts and other events will be travelling through our Ayala Museum On-The-Go program. 

 

Will you be having exhibitions elsewhere? 

Keep an eye out for our travelling exhibits! Our exhibitions team will be hard at work setting up many travelling exhibits during the course of our renovation. We’ll be keeping you up to date on when and where through email. 

 

Can I still research at the Filipinas Heritage Library (FHL)? 

The 6th Floor of the Museum where FHL is located will also be closed during the renovation. While the Library’s physical space and collections will be unavailable, FHL will continue to accommodate research queries and reproduction requests via email at asklibrarian@filipinaslibrary.org.ph 

Digitized library materials are also available for online viewing at www.filipinaslibrary.org.ph. 

 

How will I hear about the Museum and Library’s programs and events during the renovation? 

Don’t worry, we will be sending a monthly calendar via email to let you know about everything the Museum and the Library have going on.  

We will also be regularly updating our website and social media channels, so follow us there for quick updates!
