AYALA MUSEUM ON-THE-GO
The 15-year old Ayala Museum facility, which includes the museum, Filipinas Heritage Library and Artistspace , will be temporarily closed to the public beginning June 2019 for renovation. However, the museum’s mission to promote art and culture will continue online and offsite with a new program, Ayala Museum On-The-Go (AM OTG).
Ayala Museum OTG will bring our iconic exhibitions such as Kisame: Visions of Heaven on Earth, Botong Francisco: A Nation Imagined, the Future of History: Diorama Virtual Reality and the Filipinas Heritage Library’s Women and War and Color in History exhibitions to malls and schools near you. You can also take part in the museum’s workshops, lectures, concerts, and other well-loved programs at surprise locations.
For those who are busy and always on the move, Ayala Museum OTG will offer a digital platform that puts learning and discovery conveniently at your fingertips. With the Ayala Museum’s mobile app, the museum’s permanent collections such as the Gold of Ancestors and Dioramas of Philippine History will still be accessible through audio guides and photos.
Additionally with a newly launched Ayala Museum YouTube channel, audiences will experience the museum’s collection through exclusive videos and curated content.
The Ayala Museum YouTube channel will house two new and exciting cultural micro-documentaries created and produced by the Ayala Museum team: Natin and In Focus. These digital series will explore stories drawn from Ayala Museum’s art and ethnographic collections, delivered in fascinating bite-sized portions to be enjoyed anytime and anywhere.
So download the Ayala Museum mobile app, subscribe to Ayala Museum’s YouTube channel and follow their social media pages for updates and announcements on when the museum will pop-up near you for a dose of Ayala Museum content while they are closed.
Expect Ayala Museum’s doors to re-open in 2020. If you haven’t visited lately, Ayala Museum will still be open to the public until May 31, 2019.The comments are closed. Submitted in: Uncategorized |
