Artist Space
TIMEZONE overlooking featuring 20 works in mixed media by Luigi Giaccobe runs at the ArtistSpace from March 12 to 24, 2010.

Born in Gioia Tauro, Italy, Luigi Giacobbe completed his art studies in Rome. He gained the attention of various Roman art exponents when his work was exhibited in the early 1980’s in Paris. Subsequently, he participated as guest artist in the art exhibit “100 Painters of via Margutta”. In 1983, the artist began his endless quest for exploring the human capability for expression. Giacobbe calls his search "THE ART OF IMAGINATION".

After living in France, Russia, Japan, and South Korea, Giacobbe now resides in the Philippines, his third Asian country since beginning his long journey in 1985. Manila offers several attractive points of inspiration for new works. Through his travels, Giacobbe encounters different situations, and artistic and cultural expressions that continue to contribute to his work as well as the enrichment of his artistic education.
