Public Workshops
Ayala Museum announces the opening of three workshops this summer: Basic Acrylic Painting, Basic Chinese Painting, and Chinese Painting for Kids.

Acrylic is a water-based medium that is incredibly versatile in application. Acrylic works can be made to look like oil, or watercolor, or something entirely unique to the medium. The Basic Acrylic class will be taught by Neo-Angono artist Aaron Bautista and will be an 8-session Saturday workshop throughout May, June, and July starting on May 8. Classes will be from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. The price is Php6,000 for non-members and Php5,000 for members.

The Chinese people have invented paper, so their art makes use of this delicate material. Combined with ink and using bold and fine brushstrokes, students can create beautiful works of art.

Basic Chinese Painting will be conducted by Alex Chan Lim. It is an 8-session Friday workshop starting on May 7 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. The price is Php6,000 for non-members and Php5,000 for members.

Chinese Painting for Kids will be conducted by Rolex and Jolex Chan Lim. It is a 4-session workshop on April 17, 24 and May 8 and 15, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. The price is Php3,000 for members and Php4,000 for non-members.

All prices include materials. Registration will open on March 2, 2010.
