Short Story Writing

with Xi Zuq

13 May 2017 | 9 AM – 5 PM

Children’s author Xi Zuq will help stretch the limits of your kids’ imagination through a fun short story writing workshop suitable for ages 7 – 12 years old. The little ones will try some creative writing exercises and pen their own short stories as the final output of the workshop.

About the Facilitator
Xi Zuq is a writer and reader from General Santos. He is the author of the storybook Ngumiti si Andoy, the chapter books Supremo and Pangkat Papaya, and the Filipino translation of Peter Pan. He also blogs about Filipino books for children and young adults at xizuqsnook.com.

Fees, terms and conditions:

Php 2,800 Regular Fee
Php 2,520 Discounted rate for Ayala Museum Members, Ayala Rewards Circle, and Ayala Group of Companies Employees

The workshop fee is inclusive of materials, handouts, snacks, a certificate, one day free admission to the museum and one day free access to the Filipinas Heritage Library at the 6th Floor.

  • Early Bird Enrollment
    • Register and pay either the reservation fee (30% of full rate: Php  840) or in full with 5% early bird discount (Php 2,660) on or before Saturday, May 6, 2017 
    • For those who choose the former, 70% balance must be paid on the first day of the workshop.
    • 5% early bird discount does not apply to Ayala Museum Members, Ayala Rewards Circle, and AGC Employees
  • Late Enrollment
    • Registration after Saturday, May 6, 2017 is subject to availability of slots. Kindly inquire with our Education department for available slots. Only full payments (Php2,800 regular, Php2,520 Member/ARC/AGC rate) will be accepted during this time (Note: Museum is closed on Mondays).

HOW TO REGISTER?

Step 1:

Step 2:

Payment can be made at the Ayala Museum counter or through bank payment to Ayala Foundation, Inc. (account no. 0011-1490-14) at any BPI branch. Deposit slip copies must be emailed at  education@ayalamuseum.org

Step 3:
A confirmation email will be received from the Ayala Museum staff to confirm if your reservation has been finalized.
