In the fervor of Philippine Independence Day, and with a renewed sense of nationhood brought about by the recently concluded elections, the Manila Symphony Orchestra shall perform a rare collection of master works of National Artists in Music and OPM classics that stir one’s pride in being Filipino.
The program includes the orchestral renditions of compositions by Lucio San Pedro, Antonino Buenaventura, Ngayon at Kailanman (George Canseco), and Ewan (Apo Hiking Society). There will also be a special guest performance by critically-acclaimed soprano, Ms. Camille Lopez-Molina.
Guests are encouraged to come in Filipiniana or wear/bring something Filipino-inspired for a chance to win special prizes from Avida, our official co-presenter for The Rush Hour Concerts. Participants will need to register their name and contact information to join the raffle, so we advise interested parties to bring business cards to expedite the process.
