Art to Heart 2016

13 February 2016 | 9:00AM – 6:00PM

How would you give your Valentine’s Day a dash of art, culture, and history? Jose Rizal would write his date a poem (his pen truly is mightier than his sword), while Andres Bonifacio would impress her with his red pants (everyone digs stylish revolutionaries.) However, Gregorio Del Pilar would trump them both by taking his date around riding a white horse (at least he wouldn’t have to go through Tirad Pass.)

Still stumped? We’ll make it easy for you.

Join us this February 13, 2016 at the Ayala Museum for Art to Heart 2016, a day of inspiring exhibitions and fun activities whether you’re going solo, with a date, or with the whole gang!

Get that spark as you tour our galleries with that special someone and get A Taste of Gutai: the Japanese Avant-Garde art movement that rocked the world from 1954-1972. Go back in time and re-live the past through the Dioramas of Philippine History, and experience the turn of the century through the eyes of Juan Luna. Don’t forget to visit the Crossroads of Civilizations exhibitions and be awed by ancient gold artifacts, rich indigenous textile, and magnificent trade ceramics.

There are also special activities designed to make it a day of kilig! Get close with a quick sketch session with Urban Sketchers Philippines and take home a unique memento of the day. You can also impress your date with both your artistic and gastronomic skills as the Museum Café will have a pastry design station, and cap off the day with a special themed tour, exploring the hidden romance behind Philippine history’s beloved characters.
